The BOGO Bunch Foundation

Creating a family atmosphere for those in need

Our Mission

The BOGO Bunch's mission is to "create a family atmosphere" in the lives in those directly and indirectly affected by cancer - if not to find a cure, then to give people the best possible quality of life. It was formed by Buffalo Sabre Zach Bogosian and his wife, Bianca in 2015.

The BOGO Bunch is a charity that will put forth an effort to raise money for cancer treatment and cancer research. This charity means even more to Zach than just a way to give financially to the cancer community. It is a way he can personally get involved and give back because someone dear his heart was affected by the disease. Zach's grandmother, Armen, who was one of the most important people to him in the world, suffered from Lymphoma. She helped raise him all while she endured a battle with cancer. Zach was lucky enough to enjoy 23 years with this beautiful woman because of the benefits of research and therapy that kept her alive for many years after her diagnosis.

About Us

Zach is originally from Massena, NY, a town of approximately 10,000 people located in upstate NY adjacent to the St. Lawrence Seaway. The son of Ike and Vicky Bogosian, he has been in the NHL since 2008 being drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 2008 NHL Draft. Zach played three years in Atlanta and three years in Winnipeg before getting traded to Buffalo in February of 2014. He is the first person of Armenian decent to play in the NHL. The youngest of three boys, Zach's hobbies are hunting, fishing, and occasionally trying to make homemade wine.

Bianca is an American retired soccer player and most recently played for the Boston Breakers in the National Women's Soccer League. She was formerly a member of the US U-23 women's national soccer team. The daughter of Tom and Nancy D'Agostino, she grew up in Longmeadow, MA, and played soccer at Wake Forest University before she was drafted by the Philadelphia Independence. Bianca enjoys spending time with their daughter and dogs, taking yoga classes, and running. She especially loves to juice fresh vegetables and fruits daily.

Zach and Bianca married in Newport, RI, on August 14, 2015. They have a daughter named Mila. They also have two German Shepherds (Max and Nina), love to be active, and eat healthy. They are extremely passionate about the BOGO Bunch Foundation and helping to raise funds for a good cause.
